Children brave the heat at Junior Golf Camp

Whether the children were swinging the club for the first time or looking to refine their skills, the annual Canyon Lake Junior Golf Camp was a fun way for kids to develop their golf game.

A full-capacity group of golfers attended the week-long golf camp at the Canyon Lake Country Club last week. This event was available to the public and included participants ages 5 through 17. The camp was a sell out and had a wait list.

Among the things the kids learned were many different skill sets, etiquette and the rules of golf. On Friday the golf camp concluded with a BBQ for the children and their families along with prizes for everyone who attended.
