Author’s Story Time

Author Shanikqua Freeman presents a special Story Time at the Canyon Lake Library as she reads her book, “Don’t Give In!” to children attending the event last week. Don’t Give In! is the tale of an adventuresome duo who get shipwrecked and quickly learn that things don’t always go as planned. The book is a self-esteem builder that uses rhythmic prose and vibrant illustrations to inspire and encourage its readers to persevere through the ups and downs of life.
