Canyon Lakers celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary

Canyon Lake residents Edna and Ben Novell will be celebrating 70 years of marriage on Tuesday. They married in St Louis on July 11, 1953.

“During the last 25 years we have enjoyed living in Canyon Lake and taking advantage of the fabulous amenities the POA provides,” Ben said. “We particularly appreciate the many friends, neighbors, acquaintances and family members who continue to make ours a wonderful life.”

Edna and Ben have four children, nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

The couple is looking forward to celebrating their anniversary at the Canyon Lake Lighthouse Restaurant for dinner with their immediate family next week.
