Titan Cheer seeking donations of shoes for fundraiser

The Canyon Lake community is being asked to contribute to the The Titan Cheer Fundraiser Shoe Drive by donating shoes in good condition. High heels and slippers will not be considered.

Emma Cole, a senior on the Temescal Canyon High School varsity cheer team, is leading the drive. The primary goal of the fundraiser is to generate funds to help cover the expenses associated with the team competing at CIF championships and nationals in Anaheim.

Emma will personally collect donated shoes from people‘s homes in Canyon Lake. To facilitate the collection process, donors are requested to match pairs together using either shoe laces or rubber bands, and place them in a bag. To arrange for a pickup, donors can contact Emma through her mother Jennifer Cole at 951-318-4392 via call or text.

The Titan Cheer Fundraiser Shoe Drive was organized to raise funds for the varsity cheer team at TCHS. The fundraiser initially stated that the shoes were due by July 25; however, there has been a change in the time frame, and now the shoes are required by July 22.
