Canyon Lake Chamber holds Roundtable event

The Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce held its first monthly Business Roundtable event Wednesday at the Canyon Lake Country Club. The topic of the roundtable this month was regarding the safety and security of member businesses in today‘s ever-changing world.

The Chamber of Commerce is planning on holding a roundtable the first Wednesday of each month.

The highlight of the Wednesday event was a presentation by  guest speaker Julie Ngo. Julie is an expert in the field and shared valuable insights, tips, and tricks on how to safeguard a business in the current environment. With her extensive knowledge and experience, attendees gained practical strategies to ensure their business remains protected.

The Business Roundtable event offers more than just invaluable information. It also presents a unique opportunity for businesses to network and connect with like-minded business enthusiasts. By attending these monthly meetings, members will have the chance to engage in meaningful conversations, build relationships, and establish lasting connections within the business community.

The event Wednesday emphasized three key principles: protect, connect and respect. These principles encapsulate the core values that every business owner should embrace, Julie said. Attendees learned how to protect their business from potential threats, whether they are physical, cyber-related, or arising from other external factors.

Moreover, the roundtable emphasized the importance of establishing connections and partnerships to enhance business growth and sustainability. Julie taught attendees how to gain a deeper understanding of the significance of respecting their business, employees, customers, and the wider community.
