In Memoriam: Bonnie Harlow

Bonnie Harlow; Sept. 21, 1929 – May 11, 2023

Bonnie Harlow (also known as Ruth Lavon Harlow) passed away on May 11, 2023. She was born on Sept. 21, 1929.

Bonnie and her beloved husband, Harry, moved to Canyon Lake in 1997 following their retirement. She had retired from a position in sales for a window and door manufacturer.

Bonnie loved living in Canyon Lake and enjoyed the Canyon Lake Women‘s Golf Club and her many friends. She was also a member of the Canyon Lake Woman‘s Club and a group of Red Hats, where she participated in delivering meals to shut-ins for 10 years.

Bonnie moved to Prescott, AZ in 2019 to be near her family. A group of friends from Canyon Lake joined her there to celebrate her 90th birthday later that year. She appreciated the times when family and Canyon Lake friends visited. She always kept a positive attitude, even during her physical problems.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her son, Rick, in 2009 and husband, Harry, in 2011. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Lorenzen, granddaughters Meagan and Natalie, grandson Scott, and great grandchildren Maxton, Johnathan, Morgan, Bronwyn, Jackson and Reese.
