Dave Dain honored at special Yacht Club cruise

The Canyon Lake Yacht Club’s cruise and tie up Saturday honored its long-time officer and club contributor Dave Dain. The party took place at the Holiday Harbor boat docks included a tie-up by rafting together at Catfish Cove.

“For all that Dave has done for the Yacht Club we should have probably done something more elaborate,” Commodore Ron Wilbur, said. “But he’s a modest guy and we didn’t want to make him blush, so we just had the cruise and a tie-up party in his honor and called it good.”

The event was one of the 12 cruises on the Yacht Club’s event calendar this year.
