Junior Lifeguards

Two of the 36 participants receive instruction during the Junior Lifeguard Camp Tryouts at the Canyon Lake Lodge Pool Saturday. The tryouts were being held to determine qualified swimmers for the Junior Lifeguard Camp being held June 19-30 for ages 8-15. The C.L.E.A.R Foundation, in partnership with the California State Parks and Lake Perris, are holding the camp. To qualify for the camp, swimmers needed to swim 100 yards in under three minutes and tread water for two minutes at Saturday’s tryout.
