Two Canyon Lake seniors chosen as Students of the Year

Two students from Canyon Lake have been named their schools’ Students of the Year by the Lake Elsinore Valley Chamber of Commerce. They will be honored at the organization’s High School Student of the Year Event and Dinner at the Lakeside High School Round Table Café on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.

Harrison Rowe was chosen as the Male Student of the Year for Temescal Canyon High School and Faith McCloskey was named the Female Student of the Year at the Keith McCarthy Academy. Both are residents of Canyon Lake.

The chamber of commerce chooses Students of the Month from the high schools within the Lake Elsinore Unified School District and chooses a male and female recipient for each school as Students of the Year from this pool of students.

Harrison had previously been chosen as the Temescal Canyon High School April Student of the Month and Faith as the October Student of the Month for the Keith McCarthy Academy.
