Friday Flyer readers are interested in your stories

Hello fellow Canyon Lakers. There is so much going on in our town I hope you have found some time to enjoy some of the activities. I hope you enjoy all the Friday Flyer stories and information about your community.

Speaking of stories, do you know of one that you think will be interesting for the Friday Flyer? I absolutely love to share stories of the various residents of this wonderful and diverse community of Canyon Lake. Personal interest stories are my favorite.

Since starting with the newspaper, I have met so many wonderful people and heard so many encouraging stories. Not every story is an easy read. There are some pretty tough things going on in the lives of some in our community. It’s during these difficult situations when we can come together as a community to help our friends and neighbors. I have seen it here time and time again. This community love and caring is what I choose to focus on in my stories.

Do you know someone who has an interesting story that you think others might enjoy reading? All you have to do is ask if you can pass their name along to me so that I might have an opportunity to share their story.

There are so many fun historical stories about Canyon Lake out there and I’d love to write about them. Are you a long-time resident and have some stories about Canyon Lake that you think would be fun to share? How did you hear about Canyon Lake? Do you know of a volunteer who has done something fantastic for the community?

Are you involved in a club here in the lake and you haven’t seen anything about the club in The Friday Flyer? Get us in touch with someone to get your club in the paper. Bring us your stories, so we can help spread the word.
