Top of the mornin’ to ya

Top of the morning to you. I hope that you have your corned beef in the crockpot and your green beer is a chillin’. I love holidays. Some I enjoy more than others. St. Patrick’s Day has always been one of my favorites.

I am not sure if it is because I relate to leprechauns, love the color green, enjoy Irish or Celtic music or if it is simply because I love Ireland. I love a party full of happy people, and Irish coffee is a wonderful drink.

My soul is drawn to rainbows…maybe that‘s it. They signify so many different things, but I have always found myself loving this holiday.

As a performer, I have spent many St. Patrick’s Days entertaining here in the lake. This year, I am going to spend it enjoying others‘ entertainment, and, of course, I will be cooking my own corned beef and cabbage.

I love that this community always comes together to celebrate the holidays. Trust me, there will be a celebration for St. Patrick‘s Day you won’t want to miss here in Canyon Lake.

I hope that as you look off into the rainbow, as you know it will come, you find hope, beauty, and you realize that the pot of gold is right here in our community. You don’t have to go chase it, just look to the edge of the rainbow.
