Lodge construction moves Woman’s Club to Senior Center

Canyon Lake Woman’s Club members decorated wine glasses at its monthly meeting at the Canyon Lake Senior Center last week. It was the club’s first meeting after finding out the Canyon Lake Lodge, where the meetings are normally held, was being renovated.

“The meeting was a great success,” Shawna Bowen said. “The change to the Senior Center sure didn’t stop the fun.”

Donna Ziegler led the class and was able to show easy ideas to make the club members have their own unique glasses.

“The ladies seemed to really enjoy decorating their project,” Donna said. “We have some talented artists among us.”

The club meetings will be held at the Senior Center until further notice and will take place the third Wednesday of the month. The next meeting will take place on March 15. Doors at the Senior Center will open for shopping and mingling at 9:00 a.m. while the general meeting will start at 10:00 a.m. The program begins at 11:00 a.m.
