Bassmasters Tourney attracts record 20 boats

The Canyon Lake Bassmasters fished their February monthly club tournament with a record 20 boats. The winning team of 2022 Angler of the Year Kevin Hugo and Rich Blay brought in a whopping 18.72 pounds of bass.

Kevin’s 6.16-pound bass not only helped his team finish in First Place, but it won the Big Fish of the Tournament prize as well

Second Place went to Damon Hole and Steve Baker with 17.68 lbs. and Third Place went to Joe Merrill at 15.83 lbs.

All fish caught were released safely back in the lake.
