Mayor and council to hold informational seminar

Canyon Lake City Mayor Jeremy Smith and Councilmember Kasey Castillo will be holding an Information Seminar for Non-Profits on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at the Canyon Lake City Hall in the Canyon Lake Town Center.

The community of Canyon Lake is invited to attend the free seminar to learn more about state, federal and local filings, the benefits of non-profit status, and the non-profit requirements. There will also be Q&A session.

“Mayor Smith will be hosting various seminars on topics of interest to the community,” Kasey said. “This Non-Profits seminar is the first one and will last approximately an hour.”
