Car Club holds monthly Donuts and Coffee; rain cuts it short

The Canyon Lake Car Club holds a monthly Donuts and Coffee event at Sierra Park beginning at 8:00 a.m., and despite the inclement weather this month, the car enthusiasts still brought out their cars.

But, the rain came and the turnout was a bit light. But, the rain couldn’t impede on enjoying friendships, laughter, donuts and, of course, a hot cup of coffee.

“We didn’t pick a winner this month,” Car Club President Perry Beggs said. “We had a light turnout and, to be honest, we forgot when it began to rain. I do appreciate everyone who came out to support the coffee and donuts.”

The Car Club will hold its February Coffee and Donuts on Feb. 11 at 8:00 a.m. and everyone in the community is invited to bring out their ride and enjoy coffee and donuts while they last.
