Chronic Illness Support Group to meet next month

Some in Canyon Lake suffer from chronic illnesses and many of them suffer without members of the community even being aware.

The Chronic Illness Support Group is holding its next meeting on Feb. 6 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Magnolia Room at the Canyon Lake Country Club.

The group is open to anyone who has a chronic medical condition or illness. Caretakers are also welcome.

“The meetings are safe, positive, supportive, informative, and encouraging,” Steven Prince said. “Confidentiality is always of the utmost importance. No one understands a chronic illness except others with a chronic illness.”

Meetings are free and open to all ages.
