Student of the Month Thomas Siroky accepted his award given by Councilmember Mark Terry at last week’s City of Canyon Lake City Council Meeting.

“Thomas Siroky is a proud student, athlete and student at Temescal Canyon High School,” Mark said. “His GPA is 3.8. He’s been a member of the engineering academy all four years of high school.”

The city recognizes top students at its monthly meetings.

“Thomas is the captain of both the boys varsity basketball team and boys varsity volleyball team,” Mark said. “During his freshman year, Thomas was on the Titan TV crew, a leadership program at TCHS.”

Thomas’ career goals are twofold. He is looking to attend college to pursue a career as a mechanical engineer or manufacturing engineer. He also is looking to become a coach for a high school basketball team.

“My impression of Thomas is he has great enthusiasm and puts great effort into everything he does,” Mark said. “We also have to recognize his mother, father and sister. You are a product of an amazing family.”
