Christmas trees can be left with trash cans

CR&R Environmental Services, the trash collectors that service Canyon Lake residents, will be on the regular pickup schedule for both the Christmas and New Years weeks. With the holidays falling on Sunday, there was no need to change up the days of collection.

Additionally, Canyon Lake residents are able to easily dispose of their Christmas trees by simply leaving them with their trash cans at the curbside. It is preferable, if possible, to leave the tree inside a can, but if that is not possible, they can be left alongside the cans.

All lights, tinsel, ornaments and stands must be removed from the tree prior to its disposal. Large trees over six feet should be cut in half.
