The residents of White Wake Drive are inviting Canyon Lakers to their street for a White Wake Wonderland Sunday. Free drinks, treats and more will be provided from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A special visit by the Grinch will highlight the evening, according to resident Richard Aldersley.

Sunday deadline for submitting Santa letters to Canyon Lake’s Zingg-Gonzales team

Canyon Lake’s Zingg-Gonzales team has Santa’s mailbox set up and is accepting letters on behalf of Santa until Sunday. The mailbox is located at 23211 Canyon Lake Dr. N.

Kids who drop off letters by Sunday will receive a personalized letter back from Santa. Each child, grandchild, niece, nephew or any other kiddo that submits a letter with a return address will receive a letter.

“With so many children writing letters to Santa and with it being his super busy season, it is important that the kiddos are reminded to not only sign their letters, but have them add their addresses, too,” Kristine Gonzales said. “Santa gets a little confused these days now that he is over 1,680 years old. Santa hates to admit it, but he sometimes has a hard time remembering addresses, so please double check your child’s letter for the small details of name and address.”

Here’s how the Zingg-Gonzales Letter to Santa works. Just have the child write a letter to Santa and he or she will receive a letter back. If the letter is a family letter, then include all the children‘s names and each child will get his or her own personalized letter.

“If you want to receive your letter to Santa back, then please make note of that in the letter and we’ll send it back to you in a separate envelope,” Brenda Lou Zingg said. “Santa knows how you like to keep those little mementos from your little ones, so we’re more than happy to have them sent back to you.”

The team says they love to hear from parents, too.

“Santa says he absolutely loves to hear from you parents, too,” Brenda Lou said. “He’s so touched by all the warm and heartfelt comments he receives in the personal letters from the little ones.”

Children outside Canyon Lake can also participate. They can email their letters to brendalou@coldwellbanerab.com and Brenda will make sure Santa’s helpers get the letter.
