Patriotic Arms opens doors in the Town Center

Patriotic Arms, a firearms store in the Canyon Lake Town Center, officially welcomed its shoppers to its new store at a ribbon cutting hosted by the Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce Friday.

Owners Johnny and Veronica Juarez said they decided to open the gun shop after visiting other larger shops years ago. In 2016, after going into a large gun shop, the couple decided to open their own store that catered more to customer service.

“We wanted to open a small store because we didn’t like the way we felt going into those larger stores,” Johnny said. “Veronica and I want to treat people with kindness and respect. In the larger stores, that kind of customer service isn’t always available.”

Patriotic Arms has made a conscientious effort to ensure the safety of the community, its staff and everyone who comes into the store, Johnny said.

“We have done everything possible to make sure everyone feels safe coming into our store as well as continuing to make sure we implement any and all safety measures that are possible,” Johnny said. “I believe we’ve gone above and beyond to make sure we’ve used all measures when it comes to safety.”
