Stone Soul sells out Canyon Lake Arts Guild’s final 2022 concert

The Canyon Lake Fine Arts Guild presented Stone Soul to a sold out audience of 360 Saturday in the Holiday Bay Room at the Canyon Lake Lodge.

Stone Soul took the stage and its eight-piece horn-blowing band played its foot-stomping classic soul throughout the night. The Motown tribute band played music by Stevie Wonder, BB King, Huey Lewis and the News, Diana Ross, The O’Jays and Mary Wilson.

Concert goers sang along to many of the songs and danced at their seats or along the back area of the Holiday Bay Room.

Prior to the concert, the Fine Arts Guild and members enjoyed a pre-concert reception and were introduced to the band by club president Bonnie Dubbs.

At the reception, Bonnie announced the lineup for next year which will include tribute bands for Tom Petty, Earth Wind and Fire and Journey. Dates will be announced shortly, she said.
