CL dog parks packed with Halloween-costumed pets

The Canyon Lake K-9 Club held its annual Howl-O-Ween contest on Halloween and costumed dogs and their owners packed the Eastport Dog Park for an evening of Halloween fun.

The judges were Pat Caldwell, Amy Lin and Elle Williams. The costume contest winners for the Big Dog category were Cutest, Casey, dressed as a 1920s flapper girl, Most Original, Blezzy, dressed as a dill pickle and Scariest, Amanita, dressed as a devil. The costume contest winners for the Small Dog category were Cutest, Tucker, dressed as a shark, Most Original, Harlee, dressed as an ACME character from Looney Tunes and Scariest, Remmy, dressed as a spider.
