CL’s Chef Anton earns master rating

Canyon Lake’s Chef Anton, known for entertaining audiences through magician shows and a variety of skills, has earned his PADI Master Instructor license, which is the second highest professional scuba achievement in the industry.

“PADI Master Instructors are recognized as elite scuba diving educators who, through dedication and hard work, have proven to be dive industry leaders,” Chef said.

“You earn the Master Instructor rating by exemplifying what it means to be a scuba diving professional through your teaching efforts and professional conduct.”

The accomplishment is amplified by his relatively short-time in the sport.

“I took my first breath underwater in November 2019,” he said. “I am proud that this weekend I earned PADI Master Instructor Rating. I’ve always said, ‘The only thing I enjoy more than learning is teaching and the only thing I enjoy more than teaching is learning’.”

He is especially grateful to his wife Lezlie Riniti, who is a divemaster herself.
