Mayor to be keynote speaker at Thursday’s State of the City

City of Canyon Lake Mayor Jeremy Smith will be the keynote speaker as he presents the State of the City address on Thursday at the Canyon Lake Lodge.

The Reception will begin at 5:00 p.m. The dinner and program will follow at 6:00 p.m. Federal, state, and county dignitaries were invited to the annual event sponsored by the City of Canyon Lake, in partnership with the Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce.

The deadline to RSVP for those still wishing to attend the State of the City dinner has passed.

It will be an evening of networking with city dignitaries, community stakeholders and businesses. The mayor will share the accomplishments of the past year and the city’s future vision. The Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce will also conduct the installation of its 2023 Board of Directors. In addition, Jeremy will present the 2nd Annual Jordan Ehrenkranz Spirit of Canyon Lake Award to a resident who has best exemplified the giving and passionate spirit that makes Canyon Lake “A Little Bit of Paradise.” The inaugural Firefighter of the Year Award will also be presented as will the Reserve Firefighter of the Year Award.
