CL Library hosting art workshop

The Canyon Lake Library has a full agenda of events for the rest of October. The community is invited to participate in any of the events and activities hosted there.

A Homebuyer’s Road Map lecture will take place Oct. 22 beginning at 11:00 a.m.

On Oct. 28 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. there will be a PFIZER vaccination clinic where part two (booster shot) of the COVID-19 vaccination shot will be given. Some ongoing programs to be held this month are the Adult Book Club which will take place on Oct. 24 at 4:00 p.m. This is a time where adult readers meet and discuss selected material over light snacks. Newcomers are always welcome. Between-the-Pages Book Club is for children ages 8 to 12 and is on Oct. 28 at 4:00 p.m. A craft or game along with a snack will be provided.

On the first and third Saturday of the month, it’s Bilingual Storytime. Stories are read in both Spanish and English. This is a great opportunity for children who are learning a second language.

Tales for Tails is held on the second and fourth Mondays from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. This is an opportunity for children to come into the Library and read with Luna or Comet, certified therapy dogs. Registration is required and can be done online at https://rivlib.net.
