City of Canyon Lake Mayor Jeremy Smith, left, served as the Master of Ceremonies of the National Day of Prayer in Canyon Lake last week. Representatives from the various religious congregations in the area offered prayers at the event as did Riverside County Sheriff and Fire Departments Chaplain Jim Savage, right, and other city leaders. Harp music was provided by Kylene Evans. The annual event was held at the Canyon Lake Community Church.
