Equestrian Center holds Play Day

The first Play Day of the year at the Canyon Lake Equestrian Center gave participants a chance to compete and show their skills. Trainer Michelle Young-Stubbs and parent volunteers said they made sure the participants had a wonderful day.

Winners in the different categories were awarded at the conclusion of the Play Day.

Delaney Lightman riding Noel won for showmanship. For leadline, the winners were McKenzie French on Noel, Liana Morris on Gigi and Connor Simon on Junie Bee.

For the Walt Trot Pattern, the winners were Mila Juarez riding Gigi and Charlotte Moore, riding Gigi with no spotter. Jenna Humphrey on April won W/T/C equitation. Hunter Jack won the twice around jumps event.

For Key Hole, the winner was Lexi Smith riding Water Cat. Barrels winner was Stephanie Gardner on Legal Fees. Riley Bergherm riding Dolly won the Easter Basket Surpris Race.

Eliana Ruyle riding Dakota won the Egg and Spoon, Stephanie Gardner riding Legal Fees won the Carrot on a Stick Race and Jackson Ruppert won the Stick Horse Race.
