Fire department transitions to new phone numbers

After a month-long renovation project at Station 1 (formerly Station 60) on Vacation Drive, the Canyon Lake Fire Department has completed some much needed technology upgrades. These upgrades include a phone system that fully integrates the Fire Department with City Hall.

As a result of the change in phone systems, the Fire Department now has new non-emergency phone numbers.

The easiest way for residents to contact the Fire Department’s Administration Office is by dialing 951-335-9414. Any resident or business owner who may have questions regarding an engine company inspection or construction inspection can dial 951-335-9771.

The old phone number for the station is no longer in service.

“These numbers should only be used for non-emergency calls to the station,” City Management Analyst Tyler Ferrari said. “In an emergency, always dial 9-1-1.”
