Pack, Wrap & Post picked Business of the Month

Pack, Wrap and Post was chosen by The Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors as its February Business of the Month.

The board of directors said in its recognizing Pack, Wrap and Post for the award that it is an excellent recipient of the recognition because of the business’ support and long-term involvement in the chamber.

Debby Gagnon, the owner of Pack, Wrap and Post, opened her business nearly 27 years ago after Mail World, a business which operated next to her new insurance adjusting firm in the Canyon Lake Town Center, closed its doors and asked Debby if she’d take over the 12 mailboxes he was abandoning. Pack, Wrap & Post was born and has been a staple of the community ever since.

“It was very kind of the chamber to select me for the Business of the Month,” Debby said. “It is always appreciated to be recognized for our many years of dedicated service to the chamber.”

The Chamber of Commerce selected Pack, Wrap & Post as Business of the Year in 2008.

Pack, Wrap and Post became an official United States Contract Postal Unit in 1995. Today, Pack, Wrap and Post offers mailbox rental, certified and international mail services, registered mail, stamps and services such as notary, FAX, document scanning, copies and packing and shipping supplies.

Debby said she loves everything there is to love about being a small business owner and loves Canyon Lake.

“Part of why I fell in love with Canyon Lake is because we are Small Town USA,” she said. “You can get involved in this community and, if you want to put in the time, you can make a difference.”

Debby has been active in the Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce ever since she started the business.

“I jumped on the chamber bandwagon and never looked back,” she said. “The chamber has always been about promoting local businesses and giving back to the community – two things very near and dear to me.”
