Canyon Lake’s Scott Enochs and his friend Blake Smith took The Friday Flyer along on a ski trip to Mammoth for a few days. On their way to the slopes, the two stopped by the Ransburg Living Ghost Town that was founded around 1895 by the Rand Mining District before closing in 1929. Scott said there are 69 people who currently live in the tiny town and that they thrive mostly on tourism.
