Citizen of the Month

Art Femister, right, was presented the January 2022 Canyon Lake Citizen of the Month award by Mayor Jeremy Smith at the City Council Meeting last week. The mayor said Art received the award due in part to his volunteer efforts with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Lake Elsinore Station to help patrol the streets of Canyon Lake, his efforts to assist with traffic control during the past City of Canyon Veterans Day Parade as a Citizen Patrol Volunteer with RSO, and his efforts to help share news with the community in a positive manner.
