Century 21 Re-Grand Opening to help new fire station

Canyon Lake Century 21 Full Realty Services will not only be holding a Grand Re-Opening at its Canyon Lake Town Center location, but is coordinating the collection of donations for the new Canyon Lake Fire Station.

When the Real Estate company puts on the Feb. 11 event from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., it will collect donations ranging from workout equipment to barbecue tools.

When some of the Full Realty Services team members visited the new fire station to welcome the firefighters, they said they noticed the fire station was missing a few things to make their lives easier and more comfortable.

Afterward they chatted with the Fire Chief and the Fire Captain, and asked about getting the community involved in an effort to raise funds and seek donations for what the station would need to make life more comfortable and effective for those who spend significant amounts of time at the station.

The chief and captain helped put together a list of needed items and authorized the effort. The donations being sought are workout equipment, cookware, cast iron pans, patio chairs, barbecue tools, flatware, Home Depot gift cards, grocery gift cards, four recliner chairs, and contractors for painting, carpet and upholstery work.

Donations can be brought to the Century 21 office or pick up can be arranged by calling Jeremy Sellers at 951-757-2004 or Annette Ammons at 714-234-5511. All donations will go directly to the Canyon Lake Fire Department.

The entire community is invited to the Grand Re-Opening Ribbon Cutting ceremony that will take place at 4:00 p.m. A taco truck and beverages will be provided from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Canyon Lake Golf Course is also donating a round of golf for four and a raffle has been set up to win it. Raffle tickets are being sold for $5.00 each and can be purchased at the Canyon Lake Golf Pro Shop or at Century 21.

If the firefighters aren’t too busy on the day of the grand re-opening, they will be on site with their new engine to meet and greet Canyon Lakers and their children in the parking lot outside the Century 21 office.
