Public invited to Tennis Club Mixer tomorrow

The Canyon Lake Tennis Club is inviting the community out tomorrow (Saturday) to watch club members compete at 9:00 a.m. The Tennis Club Mixer is being held in hopes of exposing club benefits to potential new members.

“We want everyone in the community to see the fun we have and hopefully will want to sign up and join in all the fun activities we provide throughout the year,” the club said.

Individual and family memberships are available to Canyon Lake residents.

The Tennis Club also has an upcoming United States Tennis Association event Feb. 4-6 at the Canyon Lake courts. The big national tennis event invites players of all levels from all over the country to participate.

Tennis fans are invited to come watch the high-level play. Tennis-playing residents are also encouraged to sign up to participate in the tournament.

To register for this event online, go to USTA.com and search for the Canyon Lake tournament on Feb. 4-6. The grand prize is $3,000.
