Cheer team marches in Winterfest Parade
The Canyon Lake Middle School Cheer Team took to the streets of Lake Elsinore for the city’s annual Lake Elsinore Winterfest Parade earlier this month. There were 18 Canyon Lake girls who were among the three dozen cheer team members who marched in the parade.
“It was so nice to be back participating in the annual event,” Cheer Coach-Advisor Tammy Howard said. “The team did a simple routine to Jingle Bell Rock and enjoyed every minute marching in the parade.”
COVID-19 restrictions last year resulted in the parade being cancelled.
Participating cheer team members who live in Canyon Lake were Kynsli Bangora, Summer Bristow, River Cassara, Madi Castruita, Miley Henry, Bria Hofmann, Ava Jaffe, Jennah Jaffe, Mikaela Kivrizis, Adriana Kral, Reese Marcus, Courtney Medina, Chloe Ortiz, Paisley Riley-Carter, Carisa Ronchetti, Stefani Uribe, Kaitlyn Usary and Kileigh Wilcox.
