Skiing Santa to help serve free kids breakfast

Every year The Canyon Lake Ski Club brings Santa to Canyon Lake kids in a most unique way. Most Christmas celebrations have Santa riding in on a fire truck, a convertible or even dropping from an airplane in a parachute. But only in Canyon Lake does Santa Clause arrive behind a boat on skis.

Tomorrow (Saturday) Santa will make such an entry similar to how he’s arrived for years and years. Santa will not only sit for photos with the kids attending, but will provide them with a pancake to decorate and eat as part of the Ski Club’s Breakfast with Santa. The event will take place at the North Ski Area Pavilion from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Santa will arrive by boat at the North Ski Area Pavilion before 9:00 a.m. and will visit with each of the boys and girls at the breakfast. Kids are able to chat with Santa, share their Christmas wishes, have a special pancake they decorate themselves and take a memorable photo with Santa. Parents should bring their own camera and capture the moment with Santa with the lake as the backdrop.

Pancake Bob will be serving up pancakes and Santa’s Helpers will be on hand to coordinate the event. There is no fee for those attending the event.
