CL Country Club shows off patrons’ Ugly Sweaters

The Canyon Lake Country Club kicked off the holiday season with an ugly sweater party where over 100 people wore their most outrageous holiday sweater and spent the night dancing, eating and drinking Friday night.

Kids enjoyed dancing to 1980s music while DJ April DeAnne was fully engaged with her audience. A reindeer toss game was played as party goers cheered the players on.

“I moved into Canyon Lake during the pandemic and didn’t get to get out much, but now, being able to attend parties like this, I love it and can’t wait for the next function,” a new Canyon Lake resident who attended the event said. “The best part of the evening for me is being able to dance.”

The evening started at 6:30 p.m. with party goers enjoying music, dinner, games and, of course, ugly sweaters being judged.
