Club to hold tournament, installation luncheon

Following a members-only nine-hole tournament Dec. 14, the Canyon Lake Women’s Golf Club will hold its annual awards and installation luncheon.

The tournament will be a shotgun six-person net scramble format and will begin at 8:30 a.m.

The luncheon will follow at noon at the Canyon Lake Lodge. Awards for the tournament will be given out at the luncheon, as will the club’s annual awards. The installation of the new Canyon Lake Women’s Golf Club Board of Directors will also occur at the luncheon.

The golf tournament is for members only and those wishing to participate need to sign up at the Pro-shop no later than Dec. 4. The cost is $45.00 and the golf fee is not included. Lunch will be $20.00.

The club will be collecting toys at the tournament and lunch for children up to 12 years of age. For those not attending either of the day’s events, toys can be dropped off at the Lodge.

The club’s committee for the event includes Linda Kamashian, Linda Johnso, Anne Norris and Jeannette Williams.
