Letter: Buzzards causing neighborhood damage

Editor, The Friday Flyer:

I saw the picture of the buzzards on the dead tree on Skippers Island in this week’s Friday Flyer. It was stated they only live in dead trees and eat dead animals. I don’t know if they only eat dead animals, but I do know they like live trees like the one on Canyon Lake Dr. near Vacation.

Friday there were about 30 in the top of the tree. My concern is the bio-hazard from their poop that covers the house, bushes, street and yard. It can cause extensive lung disease to people who live there and their neighbors.

I would suggest a major tree trim and extensive clean up by a licensed agency.
