CL skiers competing in Pan Am Waterski Championships
Canyon Lake’s Kendra Nathan was chosen to represent Team USA on the Under-17 team at the Pan American Waterski Championships to be held in Chapala, Mexico Thursday through Sunday next week.
Also traveling to Mexico will be Canyon Lake skiers Carol and Jim Brooks who will also compete in the championships, but will compete starting yesterday and will finish on Sunday.
Jim is competing in the 45+ division and Carol will be skiing as an independent skier in the 55+ division.
Kendra’s six member team of three boys and three girls will compete against other U17 teams from North, Central and South America.
The competition will include both the COVID-19-postponed 2020 events as well as the 2021 events.
