ShowCal Skiers perform at car show

The Canyon Lake ShowCal Skiers performed adjacent to Saturday’s Canyon Lake Car Show. In addition to the many club skiers, this year they were joined by several kids on skis.

The ski show included a stand up hydrofoil, kneeboarding, wakeboarding and a sit down hydrofoil. There was also a swivel ski, barefoot skiing, conventional doubles, flags, an E-Foil and wakesurfing. The Canyon Lake Wakeboard Club joined the ShowCal Skiers in the show.

The kids that participated for the first time were Allie Norred, Jayden Steeber, Liam Brady, Chase Christian, Mason Brown, Jessie Pirkle, Wyatt Pirkle, Hank Hauger, Tegan Perry and Collin.

The ShowCal skiers said they would like to thank all those who participated, including the drivers, safety boats, dock hands, announcers and the parents. The ShowCal Skiers will be starting back up in April. Those who are interested in joining, should contact Stacy Norred, president of ShowCal Skiers, at 303-588-2648.
