CL Women’s Club raises funds at bunco

The Canyon Lake Women’s Club hosted its first fundraiser of the year and the club said it was a huge success.

There were 48 women in attendance and the proceeds from the evening are going towards the club’s philanthropic efforts and scholarships.

Four door prize winners were given out at the event held last week. Others won prizes for most buncos, most wins and most losses.

Carol Syrocki won a Bed Bath & Beyond gift card, Krista Smith won a gift card to Outback and Consolidated Theatre, Jan Lafferty and Lauren Catiaorri  won See’s Candy gift cards and Brandi Bevans won Canyon Cowboy Wine.

Those in attendance said they were pleased with the evening out with friends, enjoying some laughs along with appetizers and wine.
