Canyon Lake couple invites all to a concert on the lake

Big City Hillbillies are coming to Canyon Lake to perform to anybody with access to a boat. Canyon Lake couple Pat and Don Hunter are inviting the community to listen to the band they’re providing tomorrow (Saturday) from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

There is a caveat. The group is performing at the Hunters’ lakefront backyard, so those wishing to participate in the concert need to be on a boat.

The concert will be taking place on the lake-side of Hiding Bass Place right before the causeway on Canyon Bay. There will be a big banner and several orange lights on the water to point everybody in the correct direction.

“The band will be on land, right above our boat dock,” Pat said.

“We’ve done parties like this in the past and our friends suggested we let the community know so that anyone who wants to enjoy live music from their boats can do so.”
