Seniors’ Holiday Boutique vendor space filling up

The Senior Center Holiday Boutique is still months away, but the goods to be sold there are most likely already in the process of being crafted. Likewise, it’s time to reserve the rented space to sell items at the boutique.

According to the club’s Grace Ward, the vendor spaces are filling up fast.

“If you are interested in a space, you need to get your payment and application in very soon,” Grace said.

“There is an interest by some vendors to share a space with another vendor. If there is interest in this money and time saving option, please contact me.”

Grace can be contacted at 662-341-0804 or at canyonlake.ca.seniorccenter@gmail.com.

The Senior Center will be hosting its Holiday Boutique on Nov. 6 and 7. All proceeds will go to help finance the Senior Center’s future events and expenses.

Also, this year’s boutique will be run a little differently than its boutiques of the past.

This year’s boutique will require the vendors to be responsible for their setting up and the selling of their merchandise.

Vendors will rent, furnish and man their own space. The boutique will be indoors and outdoors and will consist of different size spaces. The rental fee for the spaces will vary based on size.

All merchandise sold at the Holiday Boutique needs to be handmade and not store bought.

All items sold will need to be approved by the Senior Center Holiday Boutique committee.
