9/11 Tribute shirts, signs available starting tomorrow

The 9/11 Tribute in Light Committee continues to meet regularly in preparation for a somber Canyon Lake tribute to commemorate the attacks on Sept. 11.

Canyon Lake 9/11 Tribute T-shirts and lawn signs are going to be part of the commemoration and are available for sale and pickup beginning tomorrow (Saturday).

A minimum donation of $20.00 for T-Shirts and $7.00 for the lawn signs is being collected for the items with 100% of the profits from their sale going to T2T, “The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation.” It is hoped, members of the committee said, that much more than the minimum amount for the items will be donated.

The signs and T-shirts are limited in quantity and are being sold for cash only. The signs come with a stake and assembly is required. The size of the signs are the same as the POA campaign signs.

The signs and T-shirts are available tomorrow and Sunday at 24050 Canyon Lake Drive North from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or as long as supplies are available. The items are not available outside these hours, so the committee is asking that the visits to this house not be made earlier or later than the hours they are selling them.

The committee would like to thank everyone in advance for their generosity and they ask that everyone light up their homes in blue.

The 9/11 Tribute in Light Committee of Canyon Lake is also seeking gift certificate donations of any amount from the businesses in the Canyon Lake Town Center.

The Committee will acknowledge and present the gift certificates to the Canyon Lake residents who display the most creative lights at their homes. Lights must be blue for this event.
