Couple’s upcoming birth celebrated

Misty and Adam Avila were the center of attention Saturday at Indian Beach, as more than 50 family members and friends attended a baby shower held in their honor. The Ferrand family hosted the shower to welcome their newest family addition, baby boy Avila, due to make his appearance on Sept 16.

Hostesses Misty Ferrand, aunt to be, and Ginger Ferrand, grandma to be, said they invited more than 50 family members and friends to share in the celebration baby shower. The black and white themed decorations and stacks of gifts welcomed Misty and Adam to the celebration. Ginger said this will be her fifth grandchild and fifth grandson.

The Ferrands and four of their five children live in Canyon Lake and Ginger said she just loves having the family in the same community. Grandparents, along with aunts and uncles, said they were excited to welcome another member of the family.
