Victoria Woods wins golf club’s President’s Cup

Victoria Woods won the Canyon Lake Women’s Golf Club’s President’s Cup Tournament held recently at the Canyon Lake Country Club & Golf Course. She will receive a Club Silver Medallion and her name will be engraved on the perpetual President’s Cup Trophy.

Thirty players participated in three flights in the tournament. The awards and lunch were provided on the last day at the Country Club Restaurant.

First place winners in each flight won a silver medallion or stone to add to their existing collection.

Gerry Meeks was the A Flight winner, Darlene Cortez the B Flight winner and Elaine Grady the C Flight winner.

Those who placed in each of the flights were: A Flight 2nd place Lorrie Applegate, 3rd Kathy Voss, 4th Sheri Rawlins, 5th Kathy Werder; B Flight 2nd place Merilyn Murphy, 3rd Donna Nunes, 4th Ina Pickard, 5th Judy Thompson and C Flight 2nd place Allice Ramirez , 3rd Joanna Spiller, 4th Linda Hudson, 5th Claudia Pinto.

Linda Kamashian was the President’s Cup Trophy Tournament Chairperson.
