In Memoriam: Dianne Basse

Dianne Basse

Dianne Basse, a resident of Canyon Lake for 29 years, passed away on June 24, 2021 at the age of 82.

Born on March 28, 1939 in Seattle, Washington, she came to California as an infant when she was adopted by Forrest and Ruby Wilson. Affectionately known to friends and family as “Bev,” she enjoyed a good glass of white Zinfandel and loved to travel, but often returned home injured.

Dianne is survived by her husband of 59 years, John Basse, daughter Carol Sujishi of Canyon Lake, son John Basse of Canyon Lake, grandson Brandon Meyer of Yorba Linda, granddaughter Stephanie Meyer of Orange, and great-granddaughter Camden Meyer.
