In Memoriam : Ann “Laverne” (Brush) Rosky

Ann “Laverne” (Brush) Rosky with husband Gil Rosky

Born on November 8, 1931 in Mount Pleasant, PA to Frank and Helen Brush, Ann “Laverne” (Brush) Rosky passed away at her home in Canyon Lake on May 26 with her three daughters by her side.

Laverne and her husband Gil moved to Canyon Lake in 1994 from West Hills in the San Fernando Valley.  Laverne grew to love Canyon Lake. Throughout the years she was involved in many clubs and activities.

The Canyon Lake Travel Club was at the top of her list, with which Laverne and Gil traveled the globe. She formed lasting friendships in the Canyon Lake Woman’s Club and Bunco. Laverne volunteered for the Holiday Home Tour until she was no longer able. Laverne and Gil often said had they moved anywhere else but Canyon Lake they would never have made such close and lasting friendships.

Laverne was preceded in death by her beloved husband Gil, her siblings Bill, Bud and Lorraine and her grandson Kortney.

She was the most loving wife, mother, grandmother (Nina) and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed. Her family takes comfort in knowing that she is now residing in heaven, young, healthy and in the arms of her husband Gil.
