Love and Theft Concert rescheduled again

One of the Canyon Lake POA Concerts at the Lodge concerts has been rescheduled at the request of the band, according to Doug Schultz, the Canyon Lake POA Concerts at the Lodge producer.

The Love and Theft Concert will now take place on Sept. 25. The updated 2021 concert schedule is now Craig Campbell, Aug 28; Love and Theft, Sept. 25; Canned Heat, Oct. 15; and LA Guns, Nov. 13.

“I do believe we will be able to do all of these shows indoors at the Holiday Bay Room,” Doug said.

CLPOA begins to resume activities

California recently updated its Blueprint for a Safer Economy, for Activity and Business Tiers. With Riverside County currently in the Orange Tier there are new opportunities for activities to resume in Canyon Lake, but with limited capacity.

The Canyon Lake POA is following State and County guidelines. Currently, in the Orange Tier, indoor functions such as meetings and organized activities may resume at 25% room capacity. Outdoor organized activities vary depending on the function, but average at about 50% capacity.

Summer hours at pool begin today

Starting today (Friday), the community pool at the Lodge will be on summer hours.

Lap swim/exercise swim will be daily from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and open swim will be 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Memorial Day hours will be 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Swimming lessons and water polo programs at the pool start the week of June 14. Registration for these programs is available at the pool office.

Jordan Ehrenkranz to be honored

The Canyon Lake City Council will honor recently-deceased City Councilmember Jordan Ehrenkranz during its Wednesday regular City Council meeting, according to Mayor Kasey Castillo.
