The Canyon Lake Junior Women’s Club will host its Annual Charity Golf Tournament tomorrow (Saturday) to raise funds for its scholarships and other philanthropic work. The event will be held at the Canyon Lake Golf and Country Club.
“The Canyon Lake Junior Women’s Club Charity Golf Tournament is back this year and better than ever,” Iris Stricklin, CLJWC President, said. “We have a reputation of putting on a great event with surprises all along the way. This year will not disappoint.”
Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. the morning of the tournament and Shotgun Start/Scramble is at 9:00 a.m.
Fees include a round of golf, a golf cart (while supplies last) and a box lunch.
The event will also feature awards, raffles, complimentary contests and prizes, including Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive and a Putting Contest.
Proceeds from the event will be used to help fund local youth scholarships, families in need, emergency assistance and other philanthropic efforts.
